At www.topas.dk, which was launched less than six months ago, customers can also keep an eye on whether a particular holiday in Greenland is close to being sold out.
- We have completely dropped printed catalogues, but it will give customers the chance to put together their own personal catalogue, and they can also see on the site whether it is time to book a particular holiday if it is close to being sold out, says director Jørgen Nielsen from Topas’ headquarters in Ry, Jutland.

Regular updates online
Topas’ new online initiative saves the adventure firm an undisclosed amount of money per year, which would otherwise have been spent on postage, printing of brochures and administration. In addition, Topas now has the ability to constantly provide updates with news and important travel information.
Topas sells adventure holidays to all parts of the world, but sells a particularly high number of adventure holidays to Greenland, where the company is well established in South and North Greenland and has concluded service partnerships with other firms in the rest of the country.
In addition to lengthy hiking trips and tours, Topas also offers more challenging holiday packages, including the chance to cross the Ice Sheet in South Greenland from west to east on a 19-day expedition.
