The full e-makeover has been well under its way for the last six months, and project manager and marketing director Niels Feerup from Greenland Tourism and Business Council is pleased to introduce the new web site, that has several new features.
- Only six months ago I was thinking that the web site we had at that time was pretty neat already. It featured a lot of information both for travellers planning their trip to Greenland and tourism industry in general, Niels Feerup tells from the Copenhagen office of Greenland Tourism and Business Council.

- With this new web site we have boosted the overall visual experience web users get when logging on to greenland.com. But most importantly, we have moved away from having a factual wikipedia-like site - with all due respect - to being more focused on our users' needs, such as information related to travel planning and activities.
More user features to come in 2007
Several new intelligent features are introduced with the new web site, for instance a better consistency between articles and travel ads.
- To put it simple, it means that surfers interested in reading about dogsledding or whale safaris will be presented to travel package banners that include these kinds of activities.

During 2007 the marketing director reveals that greenland.com will offer more state-of-the-art online features such as user generated content. - It is our hope that online users more easily will find what they are looking for and that they will have a much better experience when visiting Greenland's premier gateway to tourism, Niels Feerup says.
