08.03.19 - New issue of Greenland Today hits the streets

The first international magazine about Greenland, 'Greenland Today', was published in November 2007. The aim of the magazine is to create interest and debate with regard to Greenland and it includes travel reports and articles about art, the environment, politics and culture in Greenland.

The editing department of the new 'Greenland Today' magazine remains in high spirits, although everyone is busy before the deadline for the next issue.

- We've increased the content of the magazine by eight pages, yet have so much material that we've held back a number of stories for the July edition, says publisher Aviaq Mørch, who adds that Greenland Today has enjoyed a great reception:

- People from 56 countries have visited our website and we now have subscribers in 18 countries. In the space of just three months we have thereby genuinely achieved the status of an international magazine. This can also be seen from the participants in our quiz from the first issue, where the prizes went to citizens from six different countries.

- It's really exciting working with the magazine, and we've had an incredible number of positive mails following the first issue. Furthermore, we only have 50 copies of the November issue left out of the total of 20,000 copies that were printed, so this time we weren't quite as anxious when the same number of copies were sent to the printers at the end of February, concludes Aviaq Mørch.

Greenland Today is published three times a year in both Danish and English.
