On the route between Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaq the summer 2007 timetable has been extended with six Sunday flights in the absolute high season, 15 July to 19 August. Air Greenland is thus in this period able to offer flights between Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaq 7 days a week.

Two daily departures from May to September
From the end of May until September there will also be extra flights on Mondays and Fridays. This means that travellers can choose between two departures from Copenhagen at 9.15 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. and the return flights from Kangerlussuaq at 11.25 a.m. and 1.05 p.m. respectively.
The later departure from Copenhagen will be of great benefit to passengers from the rest of Europe as on Mondays and Fridays they can then catch same-day connections to Greenland and not have to spend a night in Denmark.
More Saturday flights to Narsarsuaq
The number of flights between Copenhagen and Narsarsuaq in South Greenland is to be increased with six Saturday flights during the summer season in 2007 in order to meet increasing demand. The extra flights will be scheduled such that four of the flights will be in the period 26 May to 16 June and two in the period 1 September to 8 September.
- With the new timetable we will be able to offer new and exciting options for travelling between Greenland and Denmark, including attractive weekend breaks, explains Sales and Marketing Director at Air Greenland, Christian Keldsen.
