As of 1 October Air Greenland has launched a new booking system, which for travellers to and from Greenland - as well as those travelling internally within the country - means that old-fashioned paper tickets are no longer necessary. When you arrive at the check-in desk at the airport, all you need is a form of valid photo identification and your reservation number, which you receive immediately after making your booking at the www.airgreenland.com site.

Another consequence of the new system is that you also have to pay for your ticket when making your booking - just like similar systems from other airlines throughout the world.
In connection with the launch of the new system, Air Greenland has also launched a new more user-friendly website where as a traveller you can see which destinations you can fly to in Greenland on an interactive map. See it here.
